Clark Takes Two Visits
Aaron Clark, a 5-foot-7, 183-pound tailback from STAB in Charlottesville, Va., recently visited Virginia and Georgia Tech and tells Scout.com that many more schools are interested in his services. "I wanted to give you an update on my recruiting because things have been very busy for me," Clark said in an email to Scout.com. "My parents drove me down to Georgia Tech for their junior day and they really have a beautiful campus. I had the chance to be on the field for a Saturday practice and enjoyed it. There were a lot of people there, but the running backs coach, Coach Monken was able to find me and talk to me for a while." "He let me know he was very impressed with my highlight film, but he was still evaluating running backs and wanted me to come back for their prospect camp on June 13th." "I also visited Virginia for their spring game and it's only about 500 yards from my school, so I cross through their campus from time to time," Clark wrote. "The spring game was very good and there were a lot of people there. They had about 20 or 25 prospects at the game, but most of them had already committed." "I had the chance to talk to Coach Lineburg who is my recruiter and the running backs coach there. He's a nice coach that I would love to play for. He told me that he wanted me to come to their prospect camp on June 22nd. I'm really looking forward to gong to these prospect camps because I feel it will give me a chance to show my skills as I'm confident I'll do well there." Clark is currently hearing from East Carolina, Wake Forest and Rutgers as well. When we saw him at the New Level Athletics 7-on-7 passing tournament at Rutgers he was very impressive, looking even better in person than he does on film.
