"I picked up offers from Texas Tech, Utah, and Illinois," said Seguin HS standout Ciante Evans.
"Tech is a good program. They've been winning a lot of games. I know that they're known for offense but their "D" does a good job as well and they don't get the credit they deserve."
"Utah finished second in the nation and that speaks for itself. They're a good program and they have good academics. They came by the school and told my coach that wanted to offer me. I was excited to get this offer."
As for the Illini, Evans did not know much about the program but said that he felt honored to that they are considering him.
As a junior, Evans had 4 interceptions and 12 pass breaks.
