One of the prospects that Oklahoma State has offered that we had yet to catch up with is tight end…
Tight end now has three offers
There are many benefits to having a division one quarterback committed to a SEC team. First, you get some darn good passes thrown to you, you don't have to worry about the flying ducks and sorted bad passes you might get. Of course an added bonus is that you get a lot of college scouts out to see exactly who is catching these passes. Trent Smiley was just one such beneficiary of his quarterbacks passes. Don't sell him short, you have to be more than someone who can catch a pass to get on the radar of a college coach, you have to have some pass catching skills and college talent. He is hearing from several schools right now and has gotten offers already. "I'm hearing from quite a few people, right now it is Wake Forest, Northwestern, KU, Oklahoma State", Though he has been hearing from those schools he has not visited them yet. There are two teams that stand out to Smiley. "I would say Kansas and Oklahoma State. I think they are good programs, I like the family atmosphere they have, they have good coaching staffs and winning records. I am being recruited at mostly tight end." There will be time to decide on which school he likes best and he has some firm ideas on how he will decide what school he will go to. "I think it is going to be a combination if I like the campus, if it is a good football team, the coaches, the facilities, the dorms, and if they have a major that interests me. I am leaning towards environmental science." So far Smiley has three offers, "Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Wake Forest have offered me."
