Temple Interested in Wilk

Dan Wilk is a player that’s trying to find out what level he’s going to be playing at during his collegiate career right now and summer camps will most likely play a huge role for him. He’s currently hearing from two programs in Philly that he likes.

Luckily for Dan Wilk, he won’t have to go far this summer to visit the schools showing him the most interest as Philadelphia is a shot down the turnpike from Nazareth, Pa., for the wide receiver.

“I just got off the phone with the coach from Penn and he was telling me how much they liked me and were talking to me about keeping my grades up so I could qualify for the school,” Wilk said. “They’re having me down for a game this summer and I’m going to camp there this summer, so that is going well right now.”

Wilk has also been hearing a lot from Temple.

“I’m going to camp down there on the 31st and they told me if I have a good showing down there that would definitely help me a lot,” Wilk explained. “I like that I know someone there because I get some inside information and also like that they get a good crowd at the LINC and are doing well in the MAC right now. I feel I’d be good at that level.”

Wilk also visited Maryland for their spring game, however contact has been somewhat sporadic at this time, so he’s not counting on much from the Terps right now.
