As we near the start of summer, several players are adding new offers and making plans for camps. Here are some of the latest news and notes from around the Midwest.

Sconiers Adds Two
Oak Lawn Richards (Ill.) wide receiver Keith Sconiers picked up his third and fourth offers last week. Indiana and Eastern Michigan both offered, joining Arizona and Minnesota.

The 6'2, 175-lb Sconiers is also receiving recruiting attention from Illinois, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa nad Nebraska and has picked out several schools he wants to visit this summer.

"I am going to visit Minnesota, Illinois, Arizona, Colorado, Tennesse and I'm going to the Nike Camp on June 6."

Offers Roll in For Robinson
Rochester (Ill.) quarterback Sean Robinson has seen his recruitment pick up in recent weeks. Just last week, he added four new offers, lifting his total count to 12.

"Iowa, Kansas, Boston College and Purdue have all offered in recent weeks," he reported.

He also has offers from Air Force, Iowa State, Northwestern, Stanford, Syracuse, Ball State, Central Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington State, Northern Illinois and Toledo. He also has interest from schools who haven't offered like Illinois and Vanderbilt and is starting to make plans for the summer.

"I'm not sure where yet, but I'll definitely be making some visits."

Detroit Athlete Receives First Offer
The Motor City is always a place recruiters can come to find talent. Cooley High has not typically had a ton of top prospects, but they have had a number of solid players over the last few years. This may be the year they put one in the FBS ranks though as their quarterback/safety Steven Bell has received his first offer.

"He has an offer from Toledo, he will officaily get an offer from Bowling Green when he goes there on June 7th."

The 6'2, 185-lb Bell was an All-Detroit honorable mention selection after standing out on both sides of the ball. He is being recruited by most schools as a safety. In addition to the two offers, he also has interest from Indiana, Michigan State, Ball State, Iowa and others.

Morgan Park DB Has Three
Morgan Park (Ill.) High always has tons of talent and this year is no different. Several Mustangs have already received FBS offers, including defensive back Brian Jones. The 5'11, 180-lb Jones has three offers, from Toledo, Ball State and Wyoming, according to Mustang assistant coach Tristan Stovall. Jones is also receiving interest from Michigan State, Iowa, Illinois, Louisville, Wisconsin and others. He is being recruited both as a cornerback and free safety.

Updating the Offers: More Recent Offers in the Midwest
Indianapolis Pike wide receiver Dyjuan Lewis was offered by Arkansas, Tennessee and Oregon.

Fort Wayne (Ind.) Harding running back Roderick Smith was also offered by Tennessee.

DeWitt (Mich.) offensive tackle Paul Jorgensen was offered by Western Michigan and Duke, bringing his total to nine.
