Cerritos (Calif.) Gahr receiver Shaan Johnson (6-2, 170), picked up his first offer late last weekend, and it comes from the Big 12.
"Shaan got his first offer from Kansas State," said Gahr offensive coordinator Jon Nielsen. "And several more are to come."
Johnson was Gahr's third receiver as a junior, playing with Deondre Powell (Hawaii) and Aaron Bradley (Nevada), with quarterback Corey Nielsen (Hawaii), in their high powered passing attack.
He had 26 catches for 477 yards and four touchdowns as a 2008 junior at Gahr. As a sophomore in 2007 he had 34 receptions for 818 yards and five touchdowns.
