Missouri OT adds two SEC offers

The 6' 6", 280 pound left tackle out of Parkway North (St. Louis) had a successful spring in front of the college scouts.

"I just got an offer from Ole Miss today," added Anthony Gatti. "Coach Markuson has been calling my coach a lot, and he called my coach yesterday to let me know that I had an offer. Coach told me about it today. It is supposed to already be in the mail."

Another SEC school informed Tony that he had an offer.

"Coach Bobby Johnson (Vandy) actually called me tonight. They offered me last week, and he told me that he wanted to get me down on campus. He said he wanted to get me down there because I would really like it."

Who else has offered?

"Indiana and Kansas (1st offer)."

Who else is heavily involved?

"Wisconsin, Michigan State, and Iowa have all been by my school this spring and have been in contact with me. That is about it. Well, Nebraska has been talking to me too, but that is all that I can think of."

What does the St. Loius Post 2nd Team All-State selection know about the Rebels?

"I am going down there June 5th on my way to Florida. Our family is taking a vacation in Florida, and we are going to stop by Ole Miss for the day and learn more about it. I want to defentley see if I fit in with the coaching staff. That has a lot to do with it. I want to see how they interact with the players and how they coach the team."

And Vandy?

"I know they have a really good academic school. It is a great school, but I do not know much about their football program. I am going to do a little research on them on the internet. Coach Johnson wants to get me down there."

What is going on with Kansas?

"Coach Werner came Friday, and he was just wanting me to make a decision. I talked to my dad about it, and he told me to wait and see what the other schools have to offer. He wants me to get a better feel for everyone before I commit."

How about Indiana?

"I do not really know much about them. I am also going to do a little research on them."

Any camp plans this summer?
"I am going up to Purdue, down to Ole Miss, and then I might go over to Nebraska. That is about it."
