El Cajon (Calif.) Valhalla defensive Shane Pennix (6-3, 256), is one of the Southland's top defensive linemen.

During the 2008 season, Pennix had 57 tackles and 10 sacks and helped lead Valhalla to the CIF-San Diego Section semifinals.

UNLV, UCLA, San Diego State and Arizona State have all offered Pennix, who's seen here in action from his 2008 junior season.
