Shepherd's not looking back

Alabama was the first to offer Georgia offensive lineman Austin Shepherd and it did not take him long to commit to Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide. Scout.com visited Shepherd recently and he goes in depth about his decision with us here.

Austin Shepherd is a 6-foot-4, 310 pound offensive lineman out of Suwanee, Ga. - North Gwinnett.

He plays on one of the top teams in the Peach State and he is one of the leaders for Bob Sphire and the Bulldogs.

The Crimson Tide identified Shepherd early as an OL they liked and they pulled the trigger before any other program. Aftr he visited Tuscaloosa, he was sold on Alabama and shortly committed to Coach Saban after that.
