Walters Reeling In Offers
Zeke Walters profile "I have six offers now," said Walters. UAB and Air Force have offered. South Alabama called today and offered. Arkansas State has offered. Georgia State and Southern Illinois said if I had interest there that I had an offer from them." The Alabama native is beginning to see an increase in attention from the homestate Tigers of Auburn. "I went down to one of their practices and they talked to me," said Zeke. "They came to see me practice this spring. I have moved to strong side linebacker, so they wanted to see me out there. They requested film. They have just started to really show me some attention." Like most schools the Tigers are evaluating Walters as a strong side linebacker. The move from offense provided some challenges at first, but Zeke reports he is settling in now. "I like it a lot," said Walters of playing linebacker. "The first week of spring I was kind of lost. Once I got it down I really liked it. I feel comfortable there and I like it. I am still going to be playing receiver, but I am mainly going to be playing linebacker. That's where most schools are looking at me playing now." Zeke plans to camp this summer at Mississippi State and he is considering events at both Auburn and Vanderbilt. The summer tour gets underway this weekend in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. "Southern Miss has called and requested film," said Walters. "I am going down there this weekend for their camp."
