Skyline Defensive Tackle Makes College Choice

Rodney Williams

Early recruiting in Texas is a tradition and all the teams are learning how to play the game. The University of Houston got their ninth commit tonight and Scout.com has the scoop.

The Houston Cougars were looking for a defensive tackle in the state of Texas. Thursday night they found their man in Rodney Williams from Dallas Skyline High School.

Williams is an active defensive tackle who played at 6'1 260 last season. On offense he played tight end but the Skyline player's future is on the defensive side of the ball.

Coach Vond from Skyline told Scout.com, "Rodney Williams just committed to Houston".

Skyline has been a virtual factory of college prospects with six 2010 prospects committed to division one schools with at least one more having division one offers.

Scout.com will have more on this commit shortly.
