West Hills (Calif.) Chaminade receiver/safety Brando Tessar, one of the two two-sport players in the Southland, picked up his first offer on Wednesday.

According to his father, William, Cal Poly offered Tessar, to play safety for the Mustangs.

Tessar finished his 2008 junior season at Chaminade with 48 catches for 720 yards and 1,033 all-purpose yards and scored six touchdowns.

He's also getting a lot of attention as a baseball recruit.

An all-combine underclass pick a year ago at the Los Angeles Scout.com Combine, he'll be back this weekend.
