Dixon Talks New Offer
Tyon Dixon plays for one of the top prep programs in the Midwest. Colerain High School in Cincinnati, Ohio has seen its share of success on the field and with players going to the college level. Dixon will be one of the next players to place his name on the list of former Cardinals that took their game to the college level. Is Louisville a school that has his interest? "I'm excited about being offered by Louisville. It was kind of unexpected but I was happy that it came." With Louisville being only a short drive away Dixon has learned a little more about the Cardinals program. "I don't know a whole lot about Louisville expect they play in the Big East and play some good competition. I've gone done there for one of their games and had a real good time and really liked everything I saw. I know they've signed some guys from this area." One thing of interest in Dixon's recruiting is how much interest hometown program Cincinnati has shown. On the Bearcats staff is former Colerain Head Coach Kerry Coombs so one would think Dixon would be hearing a lot from them? "Right now Cincinnati is still up in the air. I'm going to wait it out and see what happens. Many on our team are set to go to camp at UC but I'm also hearing from Michigan who is talking to me more than UC is right now. I may have to go to Michigan or West Virginia who are both talking with me more than UC." While Dixon is just picking up steam in his recruiting he's in no hurry to make a quick commitment.
