Demont Buice talks Tenn. camp
"The camp went really good," said Demont Buice. "I didn't drop a single ball all day. I had 35-inch vertical. I ran a 4.6 in the 40. I thought that could have been better. I ran a 4.43 in the shuttle. Overall, I thought I did really good." "I enjoyed working out up there. I also got a chance to go in some film meetings. Coach [Eddie] Gran likes me a lot. He wanted me to stay at the end, but I had to go back for basketball work-outs. I know coach Gran likes me and wants me up there." "I spoke to coach [Lane] Kiffin for a few minutes. He came up to me while we were stretching. He told me he wanted me to kill those linebackers they had working out up there. It was pretty cool." Buice has a verbal offer from the Volunteers and anticipates a written offer. "Coach Gran wanted me to stay after the camp," he said. "They may have wanted to tell me I had a written offer, but I had to get back. I plan on calling them tonight to talk about everything. Overall, the camp and the experience up there was really great." "I like the coaches and the football team. Coach Kiffin is up there now, and I think they are going to be pretty good. I really like it up there. I should find out if I have a written offer pretty soon." Buice will travel to LSU this weekend to camp with the Tigers.
