Arsenio Favor grabs two
"I have been offered by Arkansas State and Southern Miss," said Arsenio Favor. "I received the offer from Arkansas State last week. I then received the offer from Southern Miss Monday morning." "I was very excited about the offer. I was hoping to get one from Southern Miss. It's really exciting." "I have been receiving strong interest from Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and Auburn. There are other schools showing interest, but those are coming at me the hardest. I believe Vanderbilt is close to offering me." Favor's overall impression of Hattiesburg leaves the prospect high on the Golden Eagles. "I went to the Southern Miss camp on Sunday," he said. "I thought I did really well down there. The coaches told me a few things I could work on, but other than that I did good. I liked working out with their coaches. I can relate to them real well." "I like the campus down there, and the team overall. One of my best friends went to Southern Miss. It's not far from home. They have a great athletic department. They have a good football and baseball team." The 6-foot-3, 213-pound prospect is recruited to play the quarterback position. He plans to camp at Vanderbilt, Tennessee, Auburn, Alabama, Louisville and Florida. "I am dual-threat," Favor said. "I am real good at throwing the ball and running. I have good arm strength, and I can throw on the run. I need to work on having more mobility in the pocket."
