Sheldon Richardson was a 5-Star signee for Missouri for the Class of 2009. Richardson will be making a detour before heading to play for the Tigers.

At 6-4 and 270 pounds, Sheldon Richardson may have been the most athletic big man in the country for the Class of 2009. He made a late decision to ink with the Missouri Tigers, but Mizzou looks like they're going to have to wait to reap the rewards of the big man's talents.

Richardson has already moved to California and is on campus at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif.. The junior college is one of the top spots in the country for sending players to the Division 1 ranks with 11 players from the 2008 squad headed to the big stage.

Richardson was Scout's #4 ranked defensive tackle in the country and rated 5-Stars. He is also not the last high profile member of the Class of 2009 likely headed to the College of the Sequoias. Stay tuned.
