“I am still committed to Oregon, but I am open at the same time,” said Ethan Grant.
“Right now I have a top five and they are Oregon, Ole Miss, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, and Tennessee in that order. I still like Oregon a lot, but I have to look at my other options too. I have over 20 offers, so I want to make sure of everything.”
One school had their chance to shine last week and they did just that.
“The camp at Tennessee was a good experience and I liked the competition. They made the camp exciting and I really like the coaching staff at Tennessee. That helped them get into my top five.”
The number two school on Grant’s list will be getting a visit as will the school he lists at number four.
“I am going out to visit Ole Miss and then Mississippi State later in June and I think I am going to be visiting Minnesota soon too. I want to see what the coaches are like, how I feel on their campus, and things like that.”
Over 20 schools have offered the 5-foot-9, 170 pound back out of Coconut Creek, Fla. – North Broward Prep and he has one school on top, but will that be the school he signs with in February?
“Oregon is on top, but nothing will be official until signing day,” he said. “I am going to take some visits and see what all the schools have to offer before making that final decision.”
