Williams Looking for First Offer

Cardinal O'Hara High School continually pumps out impressive prospects and Matt Williams is one that may be flying under the radar this season. We talked to him about his current situation and found he has a few schools on the hook.

Matt  Williams has grown a bit since we saw him at our Scout.com Combine at Baltimore Raven's Stadium in 2008. The 6-foot-3 center is now up to 275 pounds and has gotten much quicker even though he's gained weight.

"Right now I'm just looking for a place that has a good atmosphere, nice campus and want to play somewhere I'd have a chance to win a national championship at," Williams explained. "I have been talking to Pittsburgh, JMU, Richmond and Connecticut the most."

"I went to junior day at Pitt and really liked it a lot there," Williams stated. "The offensive line coach Tony Wise is a great guy and has a ridiculous track record. He was very likeable and I feel like I can learn a lot from him. The facilities were really cool to because they share them with the Steelers. I'll be camping there on Friday."
