Corey Shelton blazes at camp
"Right now I have offers from Arkansas State and Louisville," said Corey Shelton. "I have been receiving interest from Ole Miss, Southern Miss, LSU, Florida and Southern Miss as well." "I went to Auburn yesterday. That was the first camp I have been to. I am going down to Florida's camp on Tuesday. I am then going to LSU's camp July 19. I don't have any favorite schools." Shelton talked more about the camp experience with the Tigers. "The Auburn camp was good," he said. "I ran 4.27-40. I ran a 4.07 shuttle. I felt like I did real good out there. I talked to coach Trooper Taylor. I love the camp. It was really good." "Coach Taylor was telling me he liked my speed. He told me that I ran real good. He would like to see me as return specialist. I worked out with the receivers out there." Shelton is familiar with the Auburn program and has a former teammate on the Tigers' roster. "Auburn is an all right place," he stated. "I like it. Justin Albert is down there. I know him. They said they were going to start showing me a lot interest." The 5-foot-7, 160-pound prospect hopes to continue to showcase his speed and quickness at other camps throughout the summer.
