Devon Troup :: WR :: Detroit Denby (2010)
This transfer from King was very impressive. He has outstanding size at 6’4, 200-lbs and caught everything in sight. He has big hands and caught all the heaters the strong armed quarterbacks sent his way. He is inexperienced, but he has a ton of upside.
Terrence Stevens :: CB :: Inkster (2010)
Stevens has legitimate 4.3 speed (ran a 4.32 at Michigan a few days after SMSB) and he won the fastest man here. He needs technique work, but he covered pretty well here. His size/speed combination is an attractive package and I expect him to generate a lot of interest coming up.
Jermal Hosley :: WR :: Highland Park (2011)
Hosley is super quick and speedy and went up against top cornerbacks Mylan Hicks and Dior Mathis and won his share of the battles. He is not the biggest guy, but he makes up for that by being fleet of foot and running great routes. He looks like a kid who will get a great deal of FBS attention next year.
Raymon Taylor :: WR :: Highland Park (2011)
Hosley’s teammate is very similar to him. He is smaller, but quick and speedy. He tried some cornerback as well and looked solid there. He’s a fine athlete who could play a number of positions at the next level.
Carthel Garth :: LB :: Detroit Henry Ford (2011)
Garth caught our eye during linebacker drills with his feet. He is quick and athletic. This year, he plans to transfer likely to Melvindale or Southfield. Either way, we are excited to see him in pads to find out if his on-field ability matches what he showed in shorts here.
Darryl Flemister :: WR :: Oak Park (2011)
This kid made a number of great catches. His ball skills and body control are very good and once I found out he also was a basketball standout, that made sense. An All-Conference selection a year ago, he is a name we will track over the next two seasons.
