Taylor Drawing In State Attention
Terrance Taylor profile "I am getting interest mainly from Mississippi State and Southern (Miss) now. They are the main ones," said Taylor. "Mississippi State told me when I went to their camp that I had a great camp. I talked to Coach Hud afterwards and he said that the Coach Mullen liked me a lot and the rest of the staff did too. They are all looking at me. Coach Hud said they want me to come play for them. I need to get back with them and see what they are talking about now." Terrance's first camping trip was to Hattiesburg to see the Golden Eagles and their coaching staff. "Coach Bradford told me that the offensive coordinator and Coach Fedora like me a lot," said Taylor. "I went to their camp and I feel like I did pretty good, but I was better at State." A trip to Oxford next month will complete the instate camping trifecta. "I am going to Ole Miss in July for their camp," said Terrance. "They are waiting on me to come to camp and see the school. They said they want to see me for themselves." The Rebels have had a lot of success over the years at Morton. Current wideout Shay Hodge is an MHS alum. "Shay told me that Ole Miss was a good school and that they are going to make sure you get your grades and things," said Taylor. "I go to his house every now and then and he helps me a lot. I work out with him when he comes home. he's always telling me to stay out of trouble and get my grades together." While Taylor is still waiting for his first offer, he reports that he is not looking to make a rash decision shortly after that offer arrives. "I am going to take my time with everything," said Terrance. "I was looking at Ole Miss real hard, but Mississippi State and Southern Miss are talking real good. I am just going to have to think about everything. It's going to be a hard decision."
