Scout.com was able to confirm through Bethel Head Coach Gavin Kralik that Happy Iona, a 6-foot-2, 280-pound defensive lineman for the Braves, was verbally offered a scholarship by Washington after participating in their Rising Stars camp on Sunday.

Iona has also been offered by Idaho, Washington State, Oregon State and Portland State.

At one time it was thought that Iona was close to committing to the Oregon State Beavers, but apparently has decided to keep things a little more open.
