Scout.com was able to confirm Wednesday that Lemar Durant, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound receiver from Centennial High School in Coquitlam, British Columbia, has verbally committed to the Nevada Wolf Pack. And by doing so, Centennial now has the rare distinction of having two players verbally committed to play college football in the United States before their senior seasons.

"After going to the other camps, I felt that Nevada was the top school there was," Durant told Scout.com. "I have a great connection with the coaches and everything, and I really like the facilities and the offense they run. It seems like I fit into it really well."

No other official visits planned outside the one he'll take to Reno.

"They like how I go up and get the ball," he said when asked how the Nevada coaches plan to use him once he steps on campus. "They like my size a lot and what I can do after the catch. I can make plays after the catch."

Durant is the second Centennial player to commit to a school in the states. Running back Nehemie Kankolongo verbally committed to play for Wyoming in the early part of June.
