Shumpert Picks Up Illinois Offer

Midland Regional Manager
Posted Jul 1, 2009

WR Don Shumpert now holds four; Illinois joins Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Come inside to hear what Shumpert had to say about the new offer.

"I have an offer from Illinois," said WR Don Shumpert of Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis, MO. "It's an offer I wanted because they are a spread team on offense and they pass the ball a lot."

With that said, it would appear that the Illini are his favorite. However, that is not the case.

"Right now, Minnesota is still number one because, I have been talking to them for the longest and I have a good relationship with there coaches. But, Illinois is right behind them now."
