Dover, N.H., wide receiver Matt Gambill brings very good size and athleticism to the table, however coming from such a small state he has to hurdle the impediments that other recruits from New Hampshire do. He gave us an update on his recruiting through email this week.

Matt Gambill, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound wide receiver from Dover High School in Dover, N.H., put up some very impressive numbers at the Blue Grey Combine this summer and is getting heavy interest from a number of Division I-AA programs.

“Schools most interested in me right now are New Hampshire, Brown and Rhode Island,” Gambill said. “I don’t have any offers from them yet, but I am in constant contact with them.”

“I camped at Rhode Island and I will be attending camp at Northeastern as well,” Gambill explained. “We just got out of school on June 25th, so I couldn’t attend the Boston College camp like I have in the past. The only Division I-A program I’ve sent tape to is Miami(OH) and they have mailed me back telling me that they really liked my tape.”

Gambill participated in the Blue Grey Combine where he ran a 4.53 40-yard dash, 4.25 short shuttle and posted a 38-inch vertical leap.
