Package deal in the works?
Josh Reese

The 6' 0", 175 pound receiver out of Miami (FL) has stayed at home and worked out with his teammates rather than attend the various college camps around the country.

"It has been the same old/same old for me," added Josh Reese. "I am just working out with my boys and trying to see which schools I am going to visit. I just do not know right now."

There is one camp that Reese expects to participate on July 25th.

"I am supposed to be going to FSU that day. That is the only camp I have lined up so far."

Josh had 45 catches for 795 yards and 10 TD's as a junior at Miami Central and was named All-Dade and "Best Hands" in Dade County.

"My routes are my biggest strength. I run really good routes. The thing I am trying to work on most is my speed right now. If I can get that down to a 4.4, I will be a complete player, in my opinion."

Reese was offered by Florida, FSU, Michigan, Oregon, South Florida, Central Florida, FIU, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Arkansas but he has picked up three new ones this summer.

"I got one from Minnesota, Louisville, and Kansas State. I was thinking Ole Miss was going to offer me by now, but I have not heard from them in a few weeks. I am going to give them a call and see what is up."

Who could be next to offer (outside of Ole Miss)?

"I would say probably Oklahoma State or Southern Cal. They have been talking pretty good lately."

Which colleges are coming after Josh the hardest?

"I would say Central Florida, Florida, South Florida, and Tennessee."

Does Josh want to stay in-state?

"I actually do not care. I do not pay attention to distance. I just want to be comfortable where ever I am at. I just want to be treated fair and want to have a chance to play as a freshman and not be on a seniority system."

Which offense out there attracts Josh the most?

"Oregon. I just like their spread offense."

Central Florida is currently showing Reese the most love.

"They are recruiting me very hard. I talk to Coach Kelly a lot. He is a good guy. They do a lot of the same drills that we do. It is very similar to ours."

Florida's tradition is attractive.

"I like Florida because they produce good wide receivers, and they also have a good quarterback. Me and my QB (Jeff Godfrey) have been talking about going together, so if I go there, I know I will always have a good QB throwing it to me. They also provide you with a great education."

South Florida's offense brings familiarity.

"They run an offense that is very similar to ours. They are spreading the ball more, so they need some wide receivers to step up for them. They just want to get me on their campus and check things out. They have a good team, and it is not that far away from home. They are also a program that is on the rise."

How did Tennessee get in picture?

"I talk to their coaches a lot (laugh). I have heard some good things from them. They want a fresh start. I have to see what type of offense they are going to run. They run a pro offense, but they said they are going to start spreading it out and throw it more. They need a good possession receiver."

A decision will likely be far off for Scout.com's #82 nationally rated WR.

"I want do anything until after the games are over. I will turn my attention back to recruiting when I am done with my season."
