Lewis Talks About His Offers
Rob-Donavan Lewis "I have three offers now," said Lewis. "Minnesota, Mississippi State and ULM have offered. I think Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma and Nebraska may be close to offering. They are all talking with me a lot." Some stops around the SEC have been both beneficial and educational. "I have been to camps at Ole Miss, Mississippi State, LSU and some smaller schools," said Lewis. "I learned a lot at receiver and defensive back." With options both near and far from home, Lewis has found something he likes about each school that has extended an offer. "I like the coaching staff at Minnesota. They seem like real nice people. The distance from home doesn't really bother me. "They have great coaches at Mississippi State and they are in the SEC. The SEC and the Big 12 are my favorite conferences. "ULM is a great school and it's in Louisiana." The recruting process is often a daunting task for seniors to be. The challenge of balancing their final high school seasons and a college recruitment can be a distraction. Fortunately, Lewis has some close to him he can trust. "My coaches have told me how to handle everything," said Rob-Donavan. "They tell me not to get to full of myself and to take my time with everything." Lewis reports no favorites and he feels no pressure to make a summer time decision. "I don't really know when I am going to decide," said the talented defensive back. "I don't have any favorites. I am still thinking about everything."
