Robinson Close to First Offer

Robinson Close to First Offer

Scout.com had a brief conversation with 2010 prospect William Robinson from Riverdale Baptist High School in Upper Marlboro, MD. The up and coming OL wants to turn recruiting talk into an offer.

William Robinson has been hearing from plenty of schools. But the offer list still stands at zero. Robinson is hoping that all changes very soon. "I hear from Maryland, Georgia Tech, Utah, Harvard, Morgan State and Dayton," said Robinson. "It is great to get the interest but I want to get that first offer soon. I feel it is coming anytime now. I also have a lot of other schools I like including Central Florida, South Florida, North Carolina, North Carolina State, East Carolina and Richmond. I go to Richmond next weekend."

Robinson was the best offensive lineman at the recent "Sound Mind, Sound Body" Football Academy. He had the best technique and performed the best in the one on ones. After the Richmond camp he will focus on the upcoming season and knows it is important to dominate the competition during the season if he wants to get that first offer from a D-I school.

Although he is still looking for his first offer he has an idea of what he wants. "I want a great education and a good campus where I can do well and get to know people. My relationship with the coaches is important too."

Robinson reports a 3.5 GPA and will take the SAT in the fall.
