BEAVERTON, ORE. -- Updated notes from the second day of the NIKE 7ON national passing tournament with eight of the nation's top teams in attendance.
Miami Northwestern Claims the Championship with a finals victory over DeSoto.

is starting to have a tournament that almost puts him on par with Bridgewater. He takes a handoff and scampers 20 yards then takes a swing pass and somehow gets the corner for another 30. Michael Harris finishes the drive with a 25 yard td catch. Bulls are beginning to run away with this one 28-7 with 12:42 to go

After a perfectly thrown long 50 yard pass goes through the hands of a MNW receiver, MNW responds with several nice plays to work the ball down the field and a TD pass to Roy Smith. MNW leads 20-7.

taking longer than the allowed four seconds and a sack on fourth down. Desoto had one play before the end of the half and a hail mary was knocked down by MNW. We are at halftime 14-7 MNW leading DeSoto.

defense held fast as the lancers took out dallas skyline 25-22 in a tough game. Lakewood is still alive, and Skyline's tournament is done.
