Speculating on injuries is always something that’s tough to do, but after a recent injury it sounds like Bardonia, N.Y., native Alejandro Andrade will miss his entire senior year. There’s no word on whether he will rehab this year and attend prep school the following season.

Alejandro Andrade, a 5-foot-10, 190-pound cornerback from Albertus Magnus High School has informed Scout.com of some unfortunate news on Tuesday. Andrade has suffered a major injury and it sounds like he’ll miss his senior season.

“Matt, I tore my ACL and fractured my fibula in my right knee in a team scrimmage a couple of weeks ago,” Andrade said. “I’m scheduled to get surgery in the coming weeks, but I have to do therapy prior to that even.”

Andrade had 56 tackles, 10 pass break ups and an interception as a junior. On offense, he carried the ball 50 times for 567 yards and five touchdowns.
