"It was good," commented Du' Von Milsap. "They worked us pretty
good."
Milsap has had the Rebels and Gamecocks out in front from quite some time now,
so this gave him a chance to work with his potential next offensive line coach.
"Coach Markuson stays on you pretty good, and I liked that. He seems like
he is always trying to get the best out of you. They coach you hard. I also
like the fact that they like to run the ball so much, and I am a run blocker,
so that is pretty good."
Some might be surprised that this was Milsap's first camp to ever participate
in.
"No, I had never been to any camps before. I guess that is kind of crazy
these days (laughs). It was good for me to compete against linemen from outside
my region. I had never done that before. It let me see how I measure up."
The Buford standout left the Ole Miss camp with more confidence than before.
"I am not going to lie; I thought I was the best one out there."

Du' Von Milsap picks up RB after TD |
The Ole Miss coaches let him know how good they think he is.
"Coach Markuson told me that he really wants me to play for his team, and
he also said that in my first year I have a chance to start at tackle. That's
what they were saying."
Scout.com's #42 rated offensive guard had already visited South Carolina on
a couple of occasions and this was his first chance to see the Ole Miss campus.
"I guess the thing that stuck out to me were their facilities. I wanted
to see what their game field and practice facilities and campus looked like,
and everything met everything I was hoping it would be like."
Du'Von brought his mother with him to view the campus and one thing stuck out
to her.
"Oxford is just by itself. There are no big cities around it, or anything,
so you know there is no trouble around."
Milsap has now visited both South Carolina and Ole Miss. What did each campus
have that the other did not?
"I definitely liked the indoor facility at Ole Miss. South Carolina does
not have one. At South Carolina they had a real nice training room, but I did
not get to see Ole Miss' training room."
Where does Du'Von now stand?
"It is still even with Ole Miss and South Carolina, basically. I am going
to take my official visits and make a decision after that."
One school that can not be counted out is Oklahoma State.
"I am going over there in August to visit their campus. Their coaches have
been recruiting me real hard for a while now so I want to see what it is like.
Right now, I do not know what it is like over there. That is why I have Ole
Miss and South Carolina in front."
