Dzurko Closing on Offers

Lansdale, Pa., native J.D. Dzurko just found out recently that he would be a team captain as a senior for North Penn High School, certainly a great honor showing how much his teammates respect him. He also made it out to two camps and sounds like he's progressing toward offers.

J.D. Dzurko, a 6-foot-2, 268-pound center from North Penn High School camped at two more schools last week and while he hasn't scored his first scholarship offer yet we're pretty confident here at Scout.com that his senior season will open the eyes of many schools.

"I camped at Richmond, James Madison and Old Dominion last week, but I only camped at Richmond and Old Dominion," Dzurko said. "I have also been in contact with Delaware, Maine and Rhode Island too."

"Richmond was very nice and they have a beautiful campus," Dzurko stated. "I talked to one of their coaches for a long, long time. I saw the facilities and they seem very dedicated to not only helping their players stay in football shape, but also make sure they're receiving great educations."

"It went really well down at Old Dominion too. I got an email back from them already and my recruiter said their offensive line coach likes me a lot and valued my hard-nosed, nasty approach to the game. He said they really want to make something happen with an offer down the road so he told me that I should just keep working hard this season."
