Matt Kiefer is one to watch in the class of 2011. He already has offers from Arkansas and UCF with a lot more attention coming his way. Kiefer is an offensive lineman out of Georgia that is training hard for a big junior year. Take a look at him getting after it here.
Ryan Goldin is a well known trainer in the metro Atlanta area and he has been working with junior Matt Kiefer this off-season.
Goldin trains many top athletes and some of the more well known ones in recent years have been Rennie Curran (starter at Georgia), Clint Boling (starter at Georgia), and Michael Tamburo (signed with Boise State in 2009).
Here are thoughts from Goldin on Kiefer…
“Kiefer is a big athletic kid. He has big physical ability. When his mental toughness catches up with his physical ability, look out. He has all the tools. He benches 340 pounds and power cleans 335 pounds.”
He has a strong group of 2011 prospects and Scout will feature five of them over the next week or so. Kiefer is a 6-foot-4, 279 pound offensive lineman out of Chattahoochee High School. He will play guard on the next level.
Other than offers from Arkansas and UCF, he is also hearing from many other programs including favorite Georgia.
