“I have nine offers now,” said Rajaan Bennett. “Some more schools are showing interest, but I have not gotten to 10 yet.”
Schools like East Carolina, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Minnesota, and Vanderbilt have offered the 6-foot 204 pound back out of Powder Spring (GA) McEachern.
He has taken trip to three of those schools and he commented on his time there here.
Louisville: “It was very nice up there. I especially liked how they are in the top 10 in my major (construction management) and I liked their facilities a lot too.”
Marshall: “It was pretty nice at Marshall, but it was not the same as Louisville. The best part of the visit was talking with Coach Smith (Running Back Coach).”
Vanderbilt: “This visit was about three months ago and the students were not there, so I didn’t get to see what it would be like if they were. I liked the tour, the facilities were nice, and I know if I went there I would get a Grade A education.”
Bennett did not name a leader, but he did not rule out an early decision either. He does not have anything in mind at this time, but he said it could come at any time.
“I am just going to commit when I feel the time is right,” he admitted. “I have no plans to commit now, but I could commit at any time. I am just waiting until I have that feeling to do it.”
He ran for 1,000 yards and scored 13 touchdowns on 130 carries as a junior.
