Just over a week ago sources told Scout.com that Class of 2011 quarterback DaMarcus Smith of Louisville (KY) Seneca High School had suffered an injury to his left knee.
Today, sources have confirmed that Smith underwent successful surgery on his left knee for a torn ACL.
While Smith will miss his junior season he’s expected to make a full recovery and be ready to have a stellar senior season.
Despite missing his junior season Smith should still be a quarterback at the top of several programs list as he performed well in camps and combines this past spring and summer.
Scout.com wishes DaMarcus a fast a speedy recovery.
