Mitchell first caught our attention last spring as a sophomore, when he earned First Team all-Combine honors at the Oakland Scout.com Combine. As a junior, he had 38 tackles, two interceptions for touchdowns, a forced fumble, 10 breakups and seven touchdowns overall and earned All-Metro First Team honors for Burbank, who fell to Grant in the D-II finals of the CIF-Sac Joaquin Section playoffs.
