Salisbury School will be a tough team to beat this year in Connecticut and one of their best players Jeff Skoog is getting looks at several different levels.

Jeff Skoog is a good physical specimen at 6-foot-6, 290 pounds, however the offensive lineman from Salisbury, Conn., hasn’t quite made the grade with the FBS schools recruiting him, so he’s hoping for a very strong senior year.

“Recruiting has slowed down a lot in the month of August,” Skoog said. “I have been getting mail from Monmouth and Wagner who both have me at the top of their list. Syracuse is also still interested and I’m planning on getting in touch with them soon too. My coach is handling most of my recruiting, so I never know all of what’s going on, but I know he’s really good at what he does.”

“I’m hoping to really blow things out of the water during my senior season as I’ve worked really, really hard in the offseason to get some offers,” Skoog explained. “Syracuse told me I scored a 34/35 on my film evaluation and that they only offer 35s, so I’ll be working hard to get that score up.”

“I think we’re going to be unbelievable this season and I’m confident that we’re going to win the championship. We have Bjoern Werner back and have great camaraderie right now, so we’re really confident.”
