Devin Clarke plays at tiny Sebring High in the middle part of the state but that didn't prevent him from putting his name on the recruiting map last season.
Just a sophomore at the time, Clarke finished the 2008 season with 72 catches for 1,121 yards and 12 touchdowns.
"I work hard on and off the field," Clarke said. "I stay focused in the classroom and I just go to work on the field to make things happen for my team."
Clark, 5-foot-11 and 155 pounds, talked about the early recruiting process.
"It's still early but I like Miami, USF, Florida, and Florida State," he said. "Miami has always been my favorite team. My uncle likes them and I'd watch the games with him. They seem to have a great program."
Clarke, who was a standout performer at two different events at USF this summer, talked about what he'll be looking for in choosing a school.
"I'll see if I like it when I go to each school and I'll see who needs the most help," he said.
Clarke, who also had two picks playing defense last season, claims a 2.5 GPA and hasn't taken the test yet.
