Parks Signs Letter Of Intent

Devon Parks went from high school senior to college freshman in a four hour span.

“I took my last final exam at Libertyville and then my parents drove my four hours to Bowling Green,” said defensive end Devon Parks.

“I decided to commit to Bowling Green right before Christmas. I picked Bowling Green because of Gregg Brandon. He took over for Urban Meyer and we got along great.

“I’m adjusting to the college life. It was weird being in high school one minute and the next thing I know I’m signing up for classes at a university.

“Coach Brandon told me I’ll be playing defensive end.”

Parks, a 6-foot-3, 245-pounder, from Libertyville, Illinois was a “Top 30 prospect in the Land of Lincoln.
