Need to Work On: “I would like to get more tackles, more sacks, and just become a better defensive lineman that can dominate an entire game.”
Recruiting: “Florida, Miami, UCLA, Rutgers, Auburn are the schools I have gotten the most mail from lately. Georgia and Vanderbilt showed up at the school to take a look at me in the spring.”
Offers: “None yet.”
Top Schools: “USC, Florida, and Miami would be my top schools.”
2008 Stats: “I had 75 tackles, 11 sacks, and 3 fumble recoveries.”
2009 Goals: “Win the district again as a team and for myself and at least, I would like to pass every stat I had last year, especially my tackles and sacks.”
Scout’s Take: Rabasa will be a highly recruited defensive end in South Florida over the next two seasons. He has great length, he is a pass rush specialist, and he is a high energy guy. He needs to continue to fill out his frame and get bigger, but he gets up field well and he should have a big season that leads to offers in 2009.
