B.J. Chitty names five
"Everything has been going real good," said B.J. Chitty. "We are looking really good. Our team is coming along. We are strong at running the ball, and we have a lock down defense. I am carrying out my fakes real well. I got everything down." Chitty's attention has been turned to his senior season, but he did attend one final camp in Baton Rouge. "There really isn't much going on right now," he said. "I went to LSU a couple weeks ago. The camp went real good. I went down there and showed out. I am hoping for an offer. If not, then I will have to move on. I worked out as a receiver down there." "The coaches were telling me I have real good speed. They said I can catch real good. They would like for me to work on my route running. They are going to see me this year." "I like LSU. It's a good school. They are in my top five. I am looking forward to having a good year and hopefully getting an offer from them." Chitty plans to take in the recruiting process a little longer while focusing on his senior season. "I plan on visiting some schools this fall," Chitty said. "I know I am going to Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Florida, LSU, Troy and UAB. Right now my top five is Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia and LSU. They are all equal right now. LSU sends me the most stuff out of those schools." Chitty holds scholarship offers from Nebraska, Louisville, Duke, Kansas State, Troy and Southern Miss. Northview will play a fall jamboree game Thursday night against Ozark. The first game of the season is on the road at Robert E. Lee in Montgomery.
