Quayshawn Nealy helped his Lakeland team reach the Class 5A state title game last season and he and his teammates will be out to finish the job this season. They start this coming week. "We had our bye week. We play Winter Haven on Friday. My goal is to be more active on the field, have more of a nose for the ball." Nealy, 6-feet and 200 pounds, talked about the latest on the recruiting front. "No visits set up yet but I plan on taking some. Ole Miss, Purdue, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, Tulane, Indiana, and that was about it (calling so far). I have offers from all of them." Nealy has one SEC school standing out above the rest of the pack at this point in the process. "I really like Ole Miss. I like the academic side of the program there. They have a great medical field and a great football program. They're on the upside." Inside the classroom, Nealy claims a 3.4 GPA and an 18 ACT score.
