North Penn High School offensive lineman J.D. Dzurko performed well at camps all summer and has been a staple on his teams’ offensive line forever. This week the Knights opened with a drubbing of the defending Pennsylvania State Champs and Dzurko was awarded with his first offer.

J.D. Dzurko, a 6-foot-2, 275-pound center from Lansdale, Pa., has already been told by Duke that he has a guaranteed spot on their squad, however he is going to play out his senior season and see what he can get. On Friday night he had a great game leading his team to a big win and after the game he found that a coach that was there wanted to offer him a scholarship.

“The recruiting coach from Lafayette was at the game on Friday,” Dzurko said. “He told me that I had a scholarship offer from them and I was really excited about it.”

Dzurko may be a bit undersized, but he should continue to pick up offers during his senior season.
