Good Week For Munyer
The week couldn't have gotten much better for Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame offensive linemen Daniel Munyer. On Monday, Munyer and the Knights blew out Klein Oaks of Texas in the final game of the Herbstreit Classic, solidifying themselves as one of the top teams in California in 2009. On Wednesday, Munyer added his sixth offer, and his first from a BCS conference. "I got a new offer, from Colorado," said Munyer. "I'm really excited about that one. It's pretty nice." Munyer said the offer came as an inside linemen. "It was a guard or maybe center," said Munyer. "It's on the interior though." And Munyer is now at a half-dozen offers. "That was my sixth offer," said Munyer. "Nevada offered a while back too." Those joined four Mountain West offers, from Colorado State, UNLV, San Diego State and New Mexico. The Klein Oaks game was heavily influenced by the Knights offense, in which Munyer played a big role. "We played pretty well," said Munyer. This weekend, the Knights will travel to play Moorpark.
