Los Angeles (Calif.) Loyola running back Anthony Barr, the West's #1 running back prospect, will miss the remainder of the season.
Barr had a big first game against Mira Costa, but in game two against Mission Viejo, he suffered a broken ankle early in the game.
He returned to the field in a walking boot and crutches, and initially there was a thought it was just a high ankle sprain, but over the weekend, came the diagnosis that it was a broken ankle.
Barr, ranked fifth nationally and a five-star by Scout.com, has narrowed his final five down to California, Michigan, Notre Dame, UCLA and USC.
