Nazareth, Pa., product Daniel Wilk is still getting interest from some FBS level programs, but the FCS is currently bearing down hard and after a big win on Friday night he decided to check in with Scout.com and let us know about his recruiting.

Nazareth Area High School athlete Dan Wilk is receiving interest from Connecticut, Syracuse and Temple, but the schools that are focusing on him the most right now are in the CAA and Ivy League.

“We had a big win on Friday night as a team and it was a thriller,” Wilk explained. “I was also just informed that I have been selected as the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Lehigh Valley Chapter Player of the Week.”

Wilk did not talk about his individual accolades in the game, however he did score the game winning touchdown, picked off a pass and had over 150 yards in the return game, showing his versatility. He did however clue us in on his next visits.

“I have an unofficial visit scheduled to Penn this month and will also take one to New Hampshire,” Wilk said. “I’m still hoping to get offers from bigger programs, so we’ll see when I send out my first three games.”
