Mississippi's All-Time leading passer Dylan Favre led St. Stanislaus into battle against Pack Toler and MAIS powerhouse Jackson Prep a couple of weeks back. Both teams acquitted themselves well, but Prep escaped with the victory.
Scout.com Road Report
Dylan Favre
St. Stanislaus (MS)
QB / #6
C/O 2010
[GALLERY:]
Scout's Take:
Dylan Favre owns just about every passing record in the state of Mississippi. He has a big time arm and he knows where to go with the football. His ball placement is even better than it was a season ago. He has a tendency to force things because he has so much confidence in his arm, but more times than not he can get it in there. He is not scared to tuck it and go. Favre is one of the more competitive players I have ever seen at any level.
Krisjon Wilkerson
St. Stanislaus HS (MS)
WR / #25
C/O 2010
Scout's Take:
While not the fleetest of foot, Wilkerson is deceptively fast. He knows how to use his body to shield defenders and he had some shiftiness I did not expect. Once in the open field, he will find a way into the end zone. He has much better hands than advertised.
Boomer Scarborough
St. Stanislaus HS (MS)
WR|LB / #36
C/O 2010
Scout's Take:
While Boomer has elected to play baseball at
Southern Miss
, he certainly could have had a bright future on the football field. He understands that playing with the pigskin is a physical undertaking and that is where he thrives. He enjoys contact and he seeks it until the whistle blows. He could see time at linebacker on the college level, should he change his mind about moving on from football.
Pack Toler
Jackson Prep(MS)
QB|S
C/O 2010
Scout's Take:
It is very easy to like Pack Toler. He really keeps his head during the game and his teammates feed off of that. He never appears to get rattled. He is a steady performer who just makes plays. He makes contibutions on both sides of the ball. I believe his college future will be on defense, but he is capable of playing several positions on the high school level.
