Prime Ticket Spotlight - Blackledge runs wild
Devon Blackledge

Ventura, Calif. - Last week's PrimeTicket game of the week featured a powerful St. Bonaventure team running roughshod over a rebuilding Long Beach Poly. Rebuilding or not, Devon Blackledge's 300 yard rushing performance was impressive for the Seraphs.
On last Friday's Prime Ticket game of the week, St. Bonaventure used a powerful rushing attack and a stingy defense to shut down Long Beach Poly. With
USC
commitment Giovanni Di Poalo clearing the way, running back Devon Blackedge did the rest with over 300 yards rushing against Poly.
Di Poalo plays left tackle for St. Bonaventure, and is one of the more athletic linemen in the country. On several of Blackledge's long runs, Di Poalo can be seen running with him downfield, looking for an extra man to block.
Blackledge is a runner with good speed and excellent vision. He has the strength to pull away from a tackler and the speed to run away from many. He does a good job of both finding his holes and taking advantage of them once he's gotten some daylight. Blackledge currently claims an offer from
Colorado
, and after a two week performance that includes eight total touchdowns, it's easy to see him getting more offers through the fall.
The lone bright spot of the night for Poly may have been the play of sophomore receiver/return man
Randall Goforth
. Goforth took Poly's first touch for a touchdown on a kick return to even the score at 7-7, but it was mostly downhill from there for the Jackrabbits.
Here are some of the highlights from Last Friday's action.
