While Desmon Peoples did put on a show on Friday night for St. Joseph’s Prep, running back Spencer Reid added some powerful runs of his own, especially in third-down situations and looks like he could become a collegiate level athlete when it’s time.

Spencer Reid hit the weight room in the offseason and is now up to a very solid looking 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame. Reid was spoken highly of by his teammate and Boston College commitment Seth Betancourt coming into the game and showed some impressive power on about a dozen carries on Friday. While Reid is playing running back in high school, he could also be looked at as a safety prospect.

Here are some pictures of Reid after carrying the ball 11 times for 54 yards.
