Tank Sessions, three-star prospect from Columbia High School in Decatur, Ga., committed to FSU in July. He plans to take an official visit to Tallahassee in the coming weeks, but he is not ruling out any other potential visits.
"I haven't set my official there (
Florida State
) yet, but I'll definitely take one down there,"
Tank Sessions
stated. "I'll probably go in the next few weeks. I'm gonna schedule my visit around my season."
"Right now I'm not thinking about any other official visits. The door is still open to other visits, but my commitment is solid right now. I'll just have to think about some things before I think about taking an official to another school."
"There's a lot of schools that still keep in contact with me. Georgia Tech,
Ole Miss
, N.C. State,
Oklahoma
, and
Oklahoma State
still call me. Those schools call me at least once a month."
Sessions was in Tallahassee to see the 'Noles take on one of their most notable opponents.
"I went down there for the
Miami
game," he said. "It was great. It's real live there. They welcomed me with open arms. It was just a great experience. I got a full experience down there."
Sessions talks with two Florida State coaches on a regular basis.
"Me and Coach (Dexter) Carter and Coach (James) Coley talk a lot," he said. "I talk to them every week. We talk about a lot of things. They've told me that I'm a bit undersized, but that the weight will come when I get down there."
"They want me to be a leader. They push me to encourage my teammates. And they push me to be the best that I can be."
Sessions has totaled some impressive numbers at the halfway point of the regular season.
"Right now I've got 38 tackles, six tackles for a loss, and four sacks," he said. "On offense I have nine catches for 120 yards."
